John Caccitolo
John Caccitolo was born in Chicago and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He joined the military in 2007 and soon went on to graduate from the Special Forces Qualification Course in 2013. He currently is the senior engineer and JTAC of an ODA halo team in the Texas National Guard. He is a Lab Manager at Raytheon Technologies on the civilian side.
John Caccitolo is a husband and father of three who enjoys spending time with his family and writing stories for his kids. He served in the Army Special Forces and now works in the defense industry. John is currently pursuing a dual MBA through Cornell University and Queen’s University at Kingston.
In his free time, he likes woodworking, hunting, scuba diving, skydiving, chess, and playing piano and guitar. He is a member of the Green Beret Foundation and the Knights of Columbus.
John publishes his stories with the hope that they have a positive impact on other families.
John’s beautifully illustrated children’s book, Ways Of The Wolf, provides parents with a powerful way to share essential life lessons, even in times of separation. He captures children’s attention through the voice of a devoted wolf parent—teaching children about courage, honesty, emotional self-control, and the importance of choosing friends wisely. It encourages young readers to trust their instincts, protect the ones they love, work hard, and persevere through challenges.
