Matt Richardson is a captain in the U.S. Air Force and a 2012 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA). He currently works with cadets in the honor department at the USAFA. He was born in Eureka, Calif., but calls Adair Village, Ore. his home.
Matt loves traveling, already visiting 45 states, snowboarding, camping, and cheering for the Oregon Ducks.
In his book, Tomorrow’s Yesterdays, Matt sends his teen readers on a perilous journey as they follow the adventures of 14-year-old Orion “Ryan” Cooper after he falls through a time gap.
The teen is living a quiet life in the Northwest as an aspiring high school athlete when he suddenly plummets into a time hole, landing in 1920’s Chicago. Cooper is rescued and sent home by the Special Historic Operations Council (SHOC), a collection of governments woefully outgunned and way behind fanatical ideologues, the organization is fighting.
All Ryan Cooper ever wanted was to enter high school with the rest of his friends and be normal. But being recruited by the time-traveling Special Historic Operations Council (SHOC) to help save history as humanity knows it quickly ruined that.
What seems like the adventure of a lifetime turns deadly when Ryan’s minor role in a mission to Nazi Germany forces him to choose between running to safety or seeing the mission through. From crowded Nazi streets to the Parthenon of Ancient Athens, Ryan fights a one-man war against the organization known only as Legion: a time-hopping terrorist group dedicated to the destruction of mankind for their own ends.
Whether he fights or runs, death seems the only guarantee, and Ryan can only pray he stays one step ahead…
